At Heber-Overgaard Community Resource Network, we offer a variety of programs and services to help support our community.

Senior Angel Tree

HOCRN works with the Rim Country Senior Center (RCSC) to identify Meals on Wheels recipients who have no family close by, as well as other shut–ins in our community.

Select Your Senior

Starting November 1, Senior Angel Trees will be located at the HOCRN Thrift Store, 1846 Hwy 260, Heber.

Stop by Fridays or Saturdays to select the senior. Donors are given a fictitious name, clothing and shoe sizes, and a wish list item for each senior.

Shop for the items listed on the Angel Tree ticket. You are not limited to just those items, and you may select multiple seniors.

Bring unwrapped gifts to the HOCRN meeting on December 10 at the fire department or to the Thrift Store no later than December 10. Do not wrap Senior Angel Tree gifts and attach the senior’s Angel ticket to the gifts. Gifts will be delivered by RCSC volunteers a few days before Christmas.

Family Christmas Project

The HOCRN Family Christmas Project provides Christmas gifts and necessities for school age children in Heber-Overgaard with the help of our local school nurse. Donors are given only a first name, age and family contact information.

Select A Child/Children

Select a child/children from the list at the HOCRN monthly meetings on Tuesday, November 12 and on Thursday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the HO Fire Station at 2061 Lumber Valley Road, Overgaard. If you can’t make a meeting, email Amy and request a child or family.

The Bison Ranch Home Owners Association is providing toys to any Family Christmas Project donor until they are gone.

The suggested amount is $50 per child.
